Natural Fertility Management

WHEN IS BREASTFEEDING EFFECTIVE AND NOT ANYMORE AS NATURAL CONTRACEPTIVE?

While you are EXCLUSIVELY BREASTFEEDING, meaning:
  • NO water
  • NO pacifier
  • NO formula
  • NO juice
  • NO solid food
  • NO vitamin
  • you are still 100% SAFE not to conceive again yet.

But once you start to introduce other food or drink to baby, meaning, you don’t breastfeed every feeding
time, you are not safe anymore, as you begin to ovulate.

You will have to do Natural Fertility Management, which is to do Kegel exercise for about 5 times a day and each time charting whether you felt wet (open/fertile) or dry (close/infertile) that day.

WHY SOME MAY LOSE THE DRIVE?

The wife or the husband may loose the drive and below are possible reasons:
  • Still feels pain from the delivery
  • Fear of another pregnancy
  • One party is too exhausted
  • If there is problem in their relationship
So have an honest open-communication about this with your spouse, so your spouse will be understanding. Come-up with your agreed plan and timetable too, to be fair to your spouse.

    WHY CAN IT HURT?

While you are exclusively breastfeeding, you are not ovulating, you are infertile, therefore you are “close” and “dry”. This is why it hurts. So you/husband just have to lubricate/wet it.

    NATURAL FERTILITY MANAGEMENT

This is the natural method for whether you want to have a baby or whether you don’t want to get pregnant. This gives 99% guarantee.

Everyday, do about 5x of Kegel exercise. Recognize the body muscle that you hold/control when you try to hold yourself from urinating. You hold that same muscle in for a few seconds, and that is Kegel. After every Kegel, you will feel either wet (like the feeling when you have your period) or dry. Chart it each time.

When there is just one time out of five times when you felt “wet”, then it means you may be “open”, you may be fertile. You can get pregnant.

But when you felt “dry” in all those five times, then you are “dry”, you are “close”, you will not get pregnant.

Also check your underwear and your private body part. When there is a discharge like a very sticky egg white, you are ovulating, you are fertile. You can get pregnant.

So if you want to have a baby, it has to be when you are fertile/ovulating – “wet” – “open”; But when you don’t want to get pregnant, it has to be when you felt “dry” – “close” – safe.
